  Being environmentally friendly simply means having a lifestyle that is better for the environment. It’s just taking small steps towards looking after the mother earth to make this planet a better place for our communities and generations to come. And this step could come into reality by starting within myself. Simple steps like conserving water, creating less waste and practicing proper disposal, planting more trees which could be very helpful to prevent floods and create fresh air for the environment are some of it. I can also initiate activities and engage the community with such activites to combat air pollution- like encouraging the children in my barangay or neighbors to properly dispose their garbage and to avoid burning plastics. I can also tell those who have piggery near the houses in our barangay to properly disinfect the area to prevent air pollution.   1.       What are the learning/discoveries I have gained? Each one of us has our own hidden talents. During the first quarter, I was able to discover something about myself through the different activities required from us, especially on how to create our blogs.   Our country recently has faced another calamity that affected many areas of the country. Typhoon Maring has brought many damages here in our Province alone specially in the second district. Many has lost their sources of living, how were blown away by the typhoon, animals were taken by the flood, crops were washed out and the worst thing is that some love ones were lost and still missing. Amidst all these challenges, Filipinos remains to be resilient. They withstand all these challenges. They make the most of it and tolerate all these difficulties. People are able to bounce back immediately after these hardships and challenges all because of the help and warmth offered by those ready to lend their helping hand.   Every time, we Filipinos has to endure and be brave to face all these challenges and stand up the next day.       No one knows me better the "true me" than my self. But who really am I? I am just a simple guy who used to be God-fearing. I was still in grade IV when I already aspired to serve as one of the Knights of the Altar. I find happiness in serving the lord. I am also a son who loves to tease my love ones as a means of showing my love for them. I also find happiness in simple things like biking around.
